The name NUMA is a blend of two syllables representing the founders: "NU" for Piyanuch Thamchariyawat and "MA" for Omar Montenegro. Over time, "NU" pursued a career in interior design while "MA" ventured into photography and exhibitions. In September 2024, they have come together to launch The House of NUMA, a multidisciplinary studio specializing in designing interiors and products.
